A placement test is required when students initially enroll in the UMUC mathematics and English program. These tests will ensure that students enroll in the course that is best for them.

Be sure to allow time for your test to be scored and reported before registering for courses.

There are two options for taking placement tests—in person at a UMUC Asia computer lab or Field Representative Office, or with a UMUC-approved proctor.
